2011 IAFHEE SCHOLARSHIP INVITATIONAL
We would like to thank all the golfers and sponsors for their support of the 2011 IAFHEE Scholarship Golf Outing. We had over 50 golfers and raised in excess of $1,000 for scholarships. Congratulations to Michael
Phen (Rochester, MN) with a score of 75, which was quite impressive on such a blustery and soggy day. Jay Prathoumthong (Ramsey, MN) and Souky Saychareun (Des Moines) were second and third, respectively, in the Championship Flight. The First Flight was an ultra-competitive, weekend golf warrior group that battled triple and quadruple bogies throughout the day. At the end of the outing Chit Kouangvienten, Ted Tran, and Matt "Chuck" Norris finished first, second, and third, respectively, all from
Des Moines. Congratulations to these golfers! All you golfers in Des Moines and the surrounding areas better step it up next year...Minnesota has players as well.
The IAFHEE Board would like to invite all golfers to our scholarship presentation picnic that will take place at the Tai Village on Saturday, July 9th. We will presenting scholarships to three very deserving
students that just finished high school, each with their own accolades and accomplishments. IAFHEE will be sponsoring food and drinks. We would also like to recognize all golfers during this picnic. Trophies will be presented for flight winners as well as hole prize winners.
